I had head gaskets replaced on my black max V6 a couple months ago. Should I re-torque the bolts? If so, what ft-lb? Should each bolt be backed out a little first or simply torqued to spec? Thanks in advance for any advice.
Re-torquing heads is a days gone by thing. Won't hurt to check but DO NOT back the bolts out. Your shop manual will have those torques and pattern if you would feel more comfortable doing so.
