Hello top everyone,
Well, I am getting ready to retire from the Air Force, effective 1 September 2010. The middle of July 2010, I am moving down to Campobello, South Carolina, zip code 29322. The question I am having is deciding what internet service provider to use that is not ridiculously high in price. What is your thoughts???? Also, I do not want to use Charter Internet Service, because we have had AWFULL luck with them. Let me know. I am going with Direct TV for cable television.

We use Time Warner here in NC.It was less expensive to get the package deal with internet and cable tv..

I used to work for DirecTV and they treat their customers like crap!
They make you sign a 2 year contract and after the first year jack the rates way up.

May be a location thing. I never had to sign a contract with DirectTV and they have always treated me well. They seem to go out of their way make sure I'm satisfied. My lake house is only used for 6 months of the year and DirectTV is (at least was) the only provider who would let me suspend my service at no cost. Dish wanted to charge me a reduced rate of something like $10.00 a month. As far as rates are concerned, I'm still paying exactly what I was four years ago. They haven't tried to jack up my rates yet. Of course, now that I've said that.........
