As some of you may remember I posted a thread about a month ago asking should I rebuild or not. Most of my responses came from Tash and iwombat which led me in the right direction. Well I rebuilt. Question is do I really need a test wheel? Manual states when adjusting the Maximum Spark Advance to use a test wheel and not use a prop. I can't believe everyone who has to do this has a test wheel in their closet.

Re: Question on the lync n' sync

Look in the FAQ and use the Joe Reeves method. Works incredibly well.

Only other option I can think of is to have someone else drive and go Wide Open while you hang off the back with a timing light and check the Max Advance.
Sound kinda scary, Huh !!! Not to safe and not to much fun at 50+ mph
