Question on trim

Just wondering if anyone has any idea as to why the trim on my mercruiser 898 goes down really slow, it works just fine going up but down is alot slower. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

hi there check the voltage on the wires on the pump, I have the same issue going up was ok but going down was very slow and the problem was when I hit the switch to go down wasnt enough juice on the wires on the pump I replace the wire and bum works beautiful.
