Hello, I have a 2002 Larson 210 Senza bowrider that I recently mounted with a 1987 Mercury XR2 150 HP. The motor came with a 24P prop, which obviously is too high a pitch for the Larson as the Mercury came off a small bass boat.

I also placed a manual jackplate on the Larson to go with the engine. Now that I'm ready to test out the package, what would be a good prop to start with? The only prop I have right now on hand is a Mercury Black Diamond 19P aluminum. Does 19P sound about right?

Also, with the jackplate, should I start out with it adjusted as low as possible as a baseline, and then try to move up from there?

Thanks for any thoughts/suggestions!
