Just bought 2005 Baja Islander 192, 5.0 liter 220 hp. vengenance 21p prop. Boat planes great at 40 or under... very smooth and am able to trim up a bit. When I open it up boat porpoises badly when trimmed. Have to trim all the way down and then still porpoises some. I'm thinking this is not the original equipment propeller but cannot find out. Any suggestions on what was the original propeller or what propeller I should be using. I don't see any complaints of similar problems on the internet regarding this boat so I would think that its not a design flaw

Welcome,
My reading indicates that the Vengenence is not a bow lifter, said to be more a stern lifter.Does not have much rake.
A prop like a Merc Laser II should give more bow lift.
I have no experience with either prop.
We are assuming you need more bow lift because the bow doesn't stay up.
Others with more experience may chime in.

21 is probably normal prop for that setup. my suggestion is a 19p Turning point - it has a lot of bow lift.

Original equipment propeller is whatever the dealer put on it when new. I've got lots of experience with Turning Point Hustlers and at least for my hull, they cause proposing that otherwise isn't as pronounced with other props.. Every hull reacts differently however and some benefit from trim tabs.
