I just installed my new motor and this is my first time aligning the motor/gimbal and I just don't want to screw it up...so I made some videos showing the alignment bar after checking at 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees. They are each very short just showing two rotations of the bar. I was hoping some of the more experienced folks could give me their opinion on my setup. I will say that the bar slides in easily in all engine orientations. I was a little worried at first as every time I inserted the bar, it felt like it was hitting a bur or something and I think I finally figured out that it was when the bar was entering the gimbal bearing seal. That was really the only resistance I felt during inserting or removing the bar was the seal drag.

If I can't post more than one link per post, I will put them in consecutive replies to this post. I also have one more video (sorry the focus is horrible on it) showing the bar after torquing all the bolts/nuts to the proper torque. I didn't rotate the engine after torquing the nuts, I just rechecked the alignment and it looked identical to the last video (4), so I assume there is no need to rotate the engine and recheck at the other orientations...or is there?

One other quick question. The manual says not to use teflon tape on the fuel cell fittings, but to use pipe dope. Is there a specific type you should use or should NOT use?

TIA for the feedback and all the assistance provided by those here.

After torquing engine mount bolts. Sorry again for the poor focus. I may redo this one and repost.
