I bought a prop for my 1970 mercruiser 120, 16ft, 1800lb boat. The guy at west marine didnt seem like he knew what he was doing. Is a 14 1/2 by 19 over propped?
Sounds like it might be, but what size was your old prop and what were your rpm's at wide open throttle (WOT).
