Hey guys, long time lurker and first time poster here. I am finishing up working on a 92 bayline w/1985 force 85 on the transom and I have one question. The nipple on the bottom of the intake manifold, I assume is to recirculate crank case vapors and unburnt fuel. Where would the hose (which is missing and I'm replacing) plug to on its other end?

Re: Quick Question - intake manifold hose?

That is a metered orifice and the hose plugs into anothe 90 degree nipple on the bottom of the air box in fromt of the carbs. It removes spit back fuel from the carbs that collects in the air box. Since it is metered, it is designed to operate either when fuel is present or absent. It will not lean the manifold if exposed to air. You do not need to connect it if you do not want to.
