Re: quick VP upper question.

Hi there faredo, Even with the lower gear housing removed, it'll still take just a bit more than an moderate amount of effort to turn the input shaft due to all the gears located in the upper drive shaft housing that supports the shifting of forward, neutral, and reverse gears.

One important thing to know is if you hear any loud grinding type sounds while turning the shaft. Also be sure to turn the shifting mechanism to ensure everything is working in sync with each other.

Thank you for your response. would a "bit more than moderate" include both hands on a stuck pickle jar kind of force? I just feel like its really tight and do not want to sell it if there is an issue.
