Re: Quickest way to sink a boat?

You could let me move it in my driveway by hand.......Yesterday I was moving my boat in my driveway by hand. Luckily my 11 yo was out there, (more on that later). I turned the boat around to let the sun dry out the back side when suddenly it started rolling, right toward my neighbors new addition! (I live on a bit of a hill). Off it goes at about 2.5 mph, backwards, swaying side to side. I yell, "Josh get the wheel blocks", to which he grabs and then runs down the hill. I am "trotting" backwards behind (in front) of the boat trying to slow it down, and then I tell Josh drop the block behind the wheel. He does and presto, it stops dead in it's tracks.......

I get in the truck, hook it up and move it back up to "my driveway", and before I even have it parked my neighbor pulls in and she says, "hey guys, getting any fishin' done"?.........

Josh and I leave to take the boat for a spin (I had just regreased the wheel bearings), and the car ride is really quiet. We both suddenly burst out laughing at my mistake. I then say to Josh, "what do you think Cathy would have said if she pulled in and saw our boat sticking out of her living room,? AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH what the hell is your boat doing in my house?!?!?!?!?!".......I told Josh I would have looked at him and said, "dude, what'd you do"??????hehehehehehehehe.

Wer'e both still chuckling today.......

And on the next day after you use it, the same maintenance is back, with boat payments !ARRGG
