QuickSilver 3000 Classic neutral safety switch/Tilt Trim Not working

I have a problem with my QuickSilver 3000 classic control. For some reason I can not get the motor to start and also i cant get my tilt and trim to work as well. Some time it will work and some time it will not. I'm not to sure how all this ties into the control but i believe it is something to do with the control. Also I have a tilt and trim button on the front of the boat to trim the motor up and that is also not working. I will need to check it out more today I will get back and tell you what i have found out but any information now would be great.

1st place I'd look is the battery terminals.
