QuickSilver 3000 Classic

I have a broken trim control wire inside the shifter handle. How do you go about taking the shifter handle\control apart to get to the wiring.<br /><br />I can see the broken wire through a peep hole in the bottom. I have the top apart where the switch is located already taken apart. Need to take the bottom apart to run the wew wiring.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Tracy

Push in on the "throttle only" button.<br />Move throttle handle forward.<br />Throttle only button can now be pulled out and removed.<br />This exposes a retaining bolt which you remove to remove the handle and open the case.
