My power trim works fine going down but there is no sound and no movement to come back up When I push the trailer button there is a click I think my kill switch line go wrapped up and somehow broke a wire. How in the heck do you remove the handle to get at switch? Is there any diagrams that show each step? Help Please Derek

I don't think you have a problem with the helm control. Since you have a click with the trailer button, that sounds like a problem with the solenoid on the trim pump. No sound at all from the switch sounds like a problem with the trim limit switch on the outdrives gimbal ring or it's wiring (VERY Common problem).
Since you have a 3000 control, I would guess you have either an Alpha I Gen II outdrive or a Bravo, here is a link to the Alpha manual, check out the troubleshooting chart for the trim system. It is very detailed and you will find your problem.
