Most of the applications for my motor require Quicksilver 2-4-C with Teflon for lubrication. I am wondering if anyone has specific recommendations for where to use 101 or what the advantages of 101 are over 2-4-C?? It cost over twice as much, but what is it for? Thanks Jeff

Re: Quicksilver Special Lube 101

101 was originally formulated to prevent galling on the I/O power steering tube and shaft, one is S/Steel and the other is regular steel and the combination would cause the 2 to gall and seize the steering. I didn't know it was ever recommended for any other use.
