LoL
thats why I didn’t want a boat even though I love boats with all my heart and I love to tinker especially motors however I like classics and inboards they are easy for me but I gave this guy a loan to keep his family off the street he worked for his uncle who passed Recently passed
and is going through a very hard time he Insisted
on giving me this boat to thank me and a promise to pay me back one day my intentions are to fix this boat and if he pays me back I will insist on giving him the boat back so he can sell it or take his boys fishing

Is there a way you can have someone else hit to switch and see if you see a fluid leak?

Oh and I used a jumper wire strait from the battery to the pins to the blue and green wire still the same you hear the motor but nothing happens I was going to try the manual release but I am worried I won’t get the motor back up at least it’s up and I can tow it the way it is

If you hit it up on the switch does it move? Can you pressure relief it down a bit and then try it?

I’ve been told if it moves one direction, then there’s nothing wrong with the motor. And pretty sure if you’re hearing the sound it’s not the solenoid.

im just recently learning tilt/trim systems. Sorry I can’t be more help. Mine did something similar to yours where it went up but not down. But when I came back the next day to start trouble shooting, it worked.

If you can hear the motor run when trying to tilt one way or the other, did the motor shaft sheer a pin or whatever it is supposed to be connected to? Just a thought...

I just had to laugh so hard at the title. So good 🤣

I’m glad and to hear it’s sorted.
