I could use some ideas on how to mount two speakers at the front of my pontoon. I have four speakers mounted at the rear right now. and when out fishing with the radio on, when I am up front I cannot hear the radio and the person at the rear cannot hear anything but the radio. I do not have any furniture at the front except two fishing seats. any ideas and pictures would be very helpful.

Re: radio speakers

Do you have one mounted in the steering console facing forward? More importantly, does the radio play Southern Rock often??? :D

I have a set of outdoor waterproof speakers and mounted them to the rail of my pontoon.

Re: radio speakers

they are Polk Audio Atrium 4 speakers, got them off Amazom. Also got a Bazooka tube subwoofer and put in console. Now I can hear the music while at full throttle.

Re: radio speakers

I'd build two small boxes at the very front that double as beer holders, and then put 2 6.5 polk's in each of those. (the boxes should be tall and skinny, so 2 speakers facing backwards)
