rain rain go away

It has been raining in Corpus Christi for a week straight.Enough already.We've had over 9" in four days at our house and is raining now as I am typing.Not a very interesting topic I realize,but I just need a chance to vent.If we wanted to live in a swamp we would have moved to the everglades.Rain + weekend + no boating + no golfing + no outside activity = one grumpy ob.Thanks for listening.

ob, <br /><br />Now you know how the entire summer was for us here on the East Coast.<br /><br />We had 3 (1,2,3) days of 90 degrees or better<br />officially we had th 4th wettest summer on record. With a total of 15"+ of rain. So please do not take this personally, But please keep your rain in Texas. You have a big enough state, if it keeps raining here New Jersey migh float away.

hey jgregory,I know how you feel.We here in south Texas have had unprecedented rainfall this summer as well.We are usually faced with drought conditions through the summer months.It's definately been a wet year.Mosquitos have been a big problem.You're right ,Texas is big.Maybe we could send some of this stuff up Hooty or JB's way.Us south Texans like to share.
