On my Q4 tahoe, at the bottom is a bronze thru hull where I can use to pull out the oil drain for the engine. What are the chances of me being able to thread into that on the inside and use it as a water pick up instead?

At the end of the season, I'll remove the fittings to drain the engine oil out.

What i'm trying to do is avoiding putting yet another hole in the transom for the wash down pump pick up.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Ayuh,.... Is this a dock boat, or trailer queen,..??

if a dock boat, ya, it'll work, as the bilge pump will still be workin'...
A trailer queen will be a problem, as you can't keep the hull drained, with the plug out...

I don't get the connection between the bilge pump, the oil drain, a wash down pump, and trailers.

A wash-down intake on the transom means you don't get water when you are running, so you might want to use a through-hul on the bottom, whether it's this one or another.

Not sure about what you already have, but I would be concerned about frequently disconnecting the wash down pump system to use that hole for oil drain--that is a high-risk fitting best left alone.
