Raw water pump. TO REBUILD OR NOT REBUILD

Hi Yall. My name is David I have a Larson LX 194. with the 5.0 FL motor. or 5.0PNCA. Im replacing the altenator and noticed the raw water pump is leaking. Replacing while the altenator is out is a no brainer. But turns out they arent giving them away. So I'd really appreciate yalls opinion on rebuilding. I.E. Is it hard, do i need any special tools such as a press?. And most of all does any of you have any helpful or special TIPS. Because anyone who knows, knows that those special tips can make the difference between an hour or a day. and if its a day its a safe bet that its a bad one.

My tip is to figure out why the sea water pump is leaking and if can really be fixed with a rebuild.
