Thanks for the help folks, I replaced the pump plate which was scored, I did not want to spend the bucks for a new complete kit so this is what I did, I had a old base plate for a 35. ruddy bigtwin I laid my 40 lark plate on top of it marked the new screw & water hole drilled them out. JB welded the old screw holes. Darn if it didn't work just fine, has a prostate like a 2 year old Clydesdale !:joyous:
