Re-help ID old Johnson year & HP ( PHOTO ADDED)

Here are some photo's hope someone can help me out with the HP, The hood was real ruff & ID plate missing. 110 on both cylinders tho.

Is this the motor from your other thread? If so, yes 1956 from your serial number posted there, and a 15hp as Frank stated. I think he mistyped the 1856, unless you have the rare never seen American!

Yes this is the motor from my thread, sorry If I did not do the re-reply correct, I'll read the faq guide its been awhile. so glad to hear its a 1956, & a 15hp that's what I hoped it was. I now have a 5 1/2 , 15, & 18 red motors. the hood cleaned up nice and I just primed it. I don't do real resto's just refurbs to runner condition, I rattle can paint them to look as close as shelf paint will let me. switchem to single line fuel pumps. this one has to wait it's turn in line there is about 4 in front of her. thanks for the help!
