I have a 10 horse johnson sea horse QDL-19 can some one tell me what year it is,
it start right up and run good, for a minuite or too, then speeds up and dies but it will start evertime.

That's a 1958 Model. Sounds like it's running lean. Remove and clean the carb thoroughly...Future posts should be made in the Johnson/Evinrude forum for best response.......
