If it a force, the year is in the model number, model number will be something like 507x90d (mine) 50 is horse power, 7x not sure what this is

, 90 is the year, and D is the version A,B,C, or D, version, if it's a chrysler all I know is that the I.d. plate is under the carb, but I'd bet it's similar,since they made Force, untill Merc bought them out ( ie if you think it's somewhere between a 79 and 85 year model and there's a 82 in the model number, its likely to be an 82 model since they didn't make an 82 horse power) .
