We have all done some stupid thing before, but something I did this weekend really has to rank in the top 2 or 3 of stupid things that I have ever done.
While raking leaves out of my yard, I decided to pile them leaves up, and burn a small pile of 'em. (I have many trees in my yard, and it usually takes me a week to rake the whole yard). After piling the leaves up, I thought, "Half of these leaves are wet, so i'm gonna need something to help get this fire goin". So, I went to the shed, and pulled out a very small amount of gasoline.
I poured a very small amount on the pile, and attempted to light it. Well guess what, instead of lighting a fire, it ignited, and blew up like a bomb! It literally knocked me on my rear. Scared the living crap outta me. There wasn't much wind, so I think that the fumes also ignited when I tried to light the pile.

I learned somethin that day, ............I learned that I ain't too smart.

So I guess the moral of the story is; "Don't burn leaves if you got gas"!
