Really stupid question

I don't spend a whole lot of time on these forums, so forgive my question; What do some of the abbreviations stand for. I know what lol means, but how about IMHO, and LMAO? What are some of the others?<br /><br />Gotta keep it simple for us "Hoosier" boys.

Hey carpy, IMHO means "In my honest opinion" and LMAO means "Laughing my azz off"

I guess there was an abbreviation the Mod's didn't agree with. I have seen much worse though. <br /><br />I forgot, the Mod's run a dictatorship here, and if I want to stick around, then I need to abide by their rules........ Whoops.<br /><br />Democracy will catch on eventually.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that this, (@#$*^@!#*), was language. My fault.<br /><br />I might need to be educated on what is forbidden here. Toward the beginning of this thread, I see a$$ on a couple of posts, is that acceptable?
