Rear motor mount shot ?

I believe i have found my engine mis-alignment issue.. I think these mounts are shot can someone just verify, I also need to know which mount i need. 1976 Merc 888 302. Whats the best way to remove and install the mounts? I know i have to pull the motor.. Thanks Guys Josh

possable, if the upper mount is sitting on the bottom mount, yes. usually a fibre wsher under there that you can spin.
pull the motor, burn the core and rubber out of the old one, remove the outer shall and press in the new ones.

Ok now that i look at other pictures i see there is a spacer on top of the mount. My alignment bar is hard to slide in, heavy splines on top and i have raised the front mounts alot, so i think the rear is my issue...

So if i cant spin the fiber washer then the mounts are bad? Or how much space should be between the motor mounts and transom plate? i can see the mounts not sure i can touch them, and in all honesty i dont even see a washer..

Well maybe ill just lift the motor up and see whats going on.. I have tried to look up mount parts numbers would the alpha one mounts be the same?

If the heavy spline marks are on the top of the alignment bar, move the front mounts DOWN, not up...

Part number for the mounts is.... -865329A02 (and that gives you both mounts)....
