This boat is old but has been in the family since new. It's a liner boat with twin forward mounted consoles. Floor has rotten wood forward and under the consoles. Transom is hard but bowed from the weight of the engine. Thinking of rebuilding the boat. Anyone done this before that can give me pointers? Is this make of boat of good quality and worthy of this venture? Oh yes, want to get rid of the twin consoles and replace with a single center console. Can used consoles be had? I've not worked with fiber glass before but am pretty handy with tools. Is this too ambitious a project for the inexperienced?
