I have repaired, cracked INTERNAL Wiring harnesses in the past.
I have typically "peeled" each wire back as close to the connector as possible.
Then I would solder in new wires, braiding them together, not twisting them together.
Next I would "goop" each wire with Liquid Black Tape. Then regular black tape. Then fuse the whole thing together with black RTV silicon.
ARE NEW CONNECTORS AVAILABLE SOMEWHERE MAKING THIS PROCESS FASTER, AND THE SOLDER JOINTS BETTER? (Darn green corrosion)
