Hey peeps. ok got the foam poured. Whats the best way to cure marine plywood(on the deck) to guarentee a good surface to use carpet adhesive? I'm thinking poly resin by what I've read. I have the plywood cut and ready to treat. oh it is an aluminum hull.

Also, have ****load of screw holes in stern wall - any reccomendations on filler?

Just want to get fishing!!

Re: Rebuilding spectrum deck

Epoxy over polyester resin, 2-3 coats per side, edges w/ every coat (they'll get 4-6coats that way)

If you do use polyester resin, use chopped strand mat too, poly resin is of little value w/ out cloth/mat

If cost is a concern, use spar varnish/urethane, it will perform better then poly resin w/ no cloth/mat
