Re: rebuilt carbs

If you have the correct oil in the gas it shoudln't seize, if it runs out of gas it quites running, if it seizes it stops suddenly, can you turn it by hand after it does this?

I would do a compression check, all cylinders within 10%, should be @100+

Pump up your bulb till it is good and hard and check for fuel leaks, if that is good try running it while pumping the bulb, this will tell you if the fuel pump is good.

Also are you sure all your connections are on and the bulb is going the right dirrection, there should be an arrow on there that points towards the engine gas won't go throught he hose backwards.

Aye, it might be damaged now.
I think either no oil or water pump isn't cooling, thermostat problem etc.
Run it and hit the heads with an infra red thermometer.

If it ran good until you went WOT then yer running out of fuel. Check yer fuel lines and bulb for proper operation. Also, check carb float adjustments.

120psi is good, I don't think it seized, it just quit.
The bulb should go soft when the engine is running otherwise it wouldn't be drawing fuel.
Sounds like an air leak in the choke solenoid if parts were missing.
