I'm wanting to buy a rebuilt quadrajet and am looking for a reliable company to purchase from, or who should I avoid. So far I'm considering National Carburetors or i-5automotive. Would like to go with a company that actually tests the carb on a flow bench or live engine. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly. Buy a new Edelbrock over a remanufactured Qjet.

I'm already set up for a spreadbore and not looking to replace my intake manifold. I've always heard to stay away from the square to spreadbore adapters.

I'll give a contradictory opinion. I've done it. It works. And talk about easy tuning! Only difference is I used a spreadbore to square adapter because I mounted the E-Brock on top.
