What Paul said and I would add this. Your life may be at stake at some point with a 25 year old engine. I personally advise against people using older engines as their reliability comes into question based on the age of the component parts. Some people will romanticize a 40 or 50 year old outboard as being some glorious device from years past, but in the end, it's just a water blender with about the same value as a kitchen appliance that you would give a dollar for at a garage sale. I would be very careful about putting money into something that old.
