Snap On or Mac Tools has really big ones. Mine are Snap On from many years ago.

Pick up those snap ring pliers from any mobile Macco Tool Suppliier, Snap On also but Macco is more reasonably priced.

Hey there, have a 1975 115hp Evinrude that I rebuilt the gearcase this summer.
I ran into the same problem as you're having, trying to remove those large snap rings.
Solution, I took a pair of extra long needle nose pliers, 14" long
I then opened them and with a grinder, made a groove 3/16" from the tip across each jaw
This allowed me to grab and remove and put back the snap rings with Ease.

You have to remove the snap rings to replace the prop shaft seal??? Anyway, they are #7 Truarc pliers.

Agreed, no need to remove the snap rings unless you are removing the shaft and gears. And actually you don't have to remove the bearing carrier just to change the propshaft seals.

I have tried many times to, either re-enter the thread or post an edit to my own and get error message such as "Invalid Thread", over and over, sick to death of the constant user unfriendly website. Had things to say and help others with and met with constant problems. I am withdrawing from this forum and wont return. Regards, Brian

Looks like you may not need them anymore but Sears has several types... open late and on weekends. Good quality and good guarantee. I end up getting lots of stuff there at odd hours.
