Hi there.<br /><br />I have an ukrainian made aluminium hull.<br />Dimentions: 5m (15f) - 2m (6f).<br />Weight: 380 kilo. <br />Motor: Mercury 90 Classic 2 str.<br />Prop: Hustler Alum 13 1'4 * 21 and 5600 (5500 in manual).<br />I've installed a Corba Marine stabilizing plate to avoid of porpoising.<br />80% of time is on cruising speed, 15% - skiing and 5% - on top speed. I'm satisfied with the prop (still planing on 2800), but would like to buy a stainless prop with a good top and cruising speed. <br /><br />I choose between Mercury High Five 13*22, Stiletto 13 1/4*21, Laser II 13 3/4*21 or Turbo 1<br /><br />I've read that i can save up to 10% of fuel with High Five but lose 2-3 miles of top speed. Is it true?<br />Also the one of the fastest prop is Stiletto and Turbo 1.<br />Laser II has a good top speed and cruising speed.<br /><br />IMO, if install High Five with above mentioned pitch rtm would be ~ 5400 - 5500 (1 pitch - 200, 1/4 diameter + 50-100).<br /><br />I would appreciate if you can recommend one of those props.<br /><br />Thanks in advance.
