I have clean carub works fine, replace tank, and primer bulb, new gas. Still will not run unless i pump primer bulb constant with force feed gas pressure. I presume that the only thing left is fuel pump. Unless someone else has and idea of something else.

This is a 9.5 evinrude. Should i try for a kit or a new fuel pump? New pump is $50.00

Have you replaced the fuel line connectors. The O-Rings will get knicked allowing it to suck air instead of gas.

Yes, AJohnston. You probably have a failed fuel pump. Rebuild is easy and not expensive.<br /><br />By the way, please don't start a new topic unless you are on a new subject. TI LET ALL KNOW, NEW FUEL PUMP PURCHASED AND INSTALLED. AMEN LOOK OUT CRAPPIES FOR HERE I COME. I THANK. NOT SURE MAY BE GETTING A LITTLE WATER IN LOWER UNIT, NO GASKETS AVAIL WILL HAVE TO THINK ON THIS AND PERHAPS DO A LITTLE OF MCGIVER ON IT. THANKS AGAIN.
