Hey everyone!

I have a 12-13ft aluminum duck boat with a 25hp Johnson tiller/shaft motor. The engine probably hasn't been started for 7-10 years (it's an early 90s motor I think), so I am not sure what it would take to get it started.

I am looking to sell it and get it out of the yard, but I am unsure how much to list it for. I don't want to have some ridiculous price nor do I want to get ripped off by listing it for $100 or something. There is no trailer for the boat.

It's worth the price of scrap aluminum sorry to say. That's just my opinion if the engine doesn't turn over. If the engine isn't siezed well then we might be looking at $200.00 for the 25 not running. Not having a trailer for it narrows your list of buyers.

If the outboard isn't running, and you don't know if it will run, it's probably worth $0. Unless you want to part it out.

The boat itself, is worth $0 to around $400 depending on it's condition. $400 would be nearly museum quality. You can buy 'em for about $700 brand new around here.

Welcome aboard.
