I have an 85hp force with a nicked up prop and I get a slight vibration I was wondering if it was a good idea to get it reconditioned or go new

Re: reconditioned

new is best, rebuilt might or might not be good depending on how good the rebuilder is.

Both. Get a new one and have the damaged one rebuilt. Never hurts to have a good spare. I usually have one for skiing and one for speed. Give the prop a spin and watch the propshaft end for wobble.
