RECTIFIER - bench test

Any reason other than a bad part that I can only get a DIODE reading off of one yellow but not the other ? Per CDI I should get a reading with a diode test one way but not the other on both yellows to red. I am using a Micronta digital multi-tester set at diode. I don't have an analog tester but would seem if my tester can read one diode it should pick up the other. I have returned several used and one new rectifier that I got off Ebay because of failing this test. I don't want to waste my time installing if it can't pass the bench test.

Its a simple back to front test. But I gotta ask. A full wave bridge is what 2 bucks????

Not sure what you are asking but maybe I should clarify. REGULATOR/RECTIFIER 10 amp for Evinrude 90HP.

X2 and get a ANALOG METER while you are there..................
