I was wondering if the rectifier on an 88' Johnson SLP could effect triming up/down?<br /><br />We recently were trying to trim down, but were having problems. Up would send it down..pressing the button up would do nothing.<br /><br />We saw that our rectifer had a loose corroded wire that eventually disconnected.<br /><br />just curious if the two are related. I guess I'll find out for sure when i get a new rectifier mounted.<br /><br />any ideas? thanx
