red stator issues continue

Mercury sport jet 90 (in 1994 baja blast)<br /><br />Hopefully someone sees post and can help. I purchased the red stator kit and my wiring harness has two different colored wires than the new stator. <br /><br />Red Stator kit has<br />2 yellow<br />green w/ wht<br />white w/grn<br />(also comes with an extra yellow adapter wire?)<br /><br />Harness has <br />2 yellow<br />red<br />blue<br /><br />Not sure the correct hook up at this point. The two yellow come from the rectifier I believe and the red and blue go into the switch box?. Thanks in advance! Joe

You should have received a diagram with the new stator. Mine came with the stator and adapter and i do remember that the wire colors were different and I had to check the diagram for the wiring scheme.
