I have a 45HP Chrysler Outboard. It is from the early 70's and say Alternator on the cowling. I have to refill the trim motor. I'm not sure what was in there before. What should I used: regular hydraulic fluid that farmers use in their tractors, Automatic Transmission fluid, Power Steering Fluid or 10W30 oil I use in my car. I have heard that any of them are OK.

It's always recommended to match what's already there. Clear=hydraulic fluid, yellowish=30wt. nondetergent motor oil, pink= trans. fluid.
