Will it help preserve my poly resin that i got from uscomposits to refrigerate it? I got 3, 1 gallon containers in the frige cause i am hoping that it will keep it fresher. I have noticed also that i get more working time with cold resin. I dont know if that is why people do it but i like working with it better like that. If this is stupid to do let me know. Im not keeping the hardner in the frige. What do you guys think about this? Thanks!

Re: refrigerate resin?

It will last longer when kept cold and so will the catalyst, I don't recommend keeping them in the same place though.

Using it cold can be more difficult though, it won't wet out the glass as well and you'll end up using more.

Ok cool! I used it about an hour after out of the frige. And it gave me more working time with the same amount of mkep. It wet out fine. Though i see what you mean though if its cold it would be hard and not wet out as well! Good point! Thanks
