Re: registered boats

My brother says Arizona but then he lives there. Per capita he may be right. If you discount the illegals, the road runners outnumber everyone else.

Re: registered boats

Meeep, meeep! :)

NSW (New South Wales) here in Australia has a population of 6.5 million and almost 200,000 registered boats and 500,000 licenced boaters. There are an equal number of sailing boats, canoes etc which don't need registration. Basically, we LURVE our boats... but not nearly as much as Michigan people who manage one registered vessel for every ten people. Must be crowded on them thar lakes!

Re: registered boats

Most lakes are not too crowded.
Here in Wisconsin, we have 14,000 lakes, (but many are small.)
We also have a 1:10 boat ratio in Wisconsin.

Amazingly, the state to our south, Illinois, has about a 1:40 person, boat ratio.

Remember, we have The Great Lakes, several of which are 300 miles long and 100-200 miles wide.
