It’s made in 1978 by bumble bee co also goes by middle Tennessee fiberglass. Stinger is the decalls on each side of the conslole. It’s a bass boat for sure with 60hp murcury.its 15 1/2 ft long and has the regesteration numbers. My question is. How do we write out a bill of sale. I’m hooding someone might have one of these boats. Or fimiler with them

Registering your boat 100% depends on what state you're in

Also check to see what is needed, title, registration, both ???

And the outboard? Some states are titling and registering those too.

And the trailer, does your state require you to title and plate the trailer?

If you can't get the paperwork to support the transfer, titling, and registration, you should walk away.

And if 2 different states are involved, good luck.

If you have exchanged money and own it, do a mail order and register it in Vermont as a 1978 Stinger with the HIN number. It's completely legal to do so. Then you have a clean registration for your state to process..

If your state titles outboards, they have to have a process to create titles for boat motors from other non titled states. But it might be a muddy hoop filled process

many times purchasing a boat without proper paperwork from the beginning means that you own a yard planter or fish pond

take the guy you bought it from to the DMV or DNR or where ever you register boats in your state and offer to pay for a "lost registration" to get the paperwork right, and in your name.

many times, when a seller cant produce paperwork, they really dont own it to begin with.

Bumble Bee is gone - has been for a while. They got sucked up into one of the other boat makers that (I think) became Triton.

Vermont title is probably the easiest way to get usable paperwork.. 15 years or older bill of sale transfer, no other ownership proof required, and they title to out of state residents.

The only caveat to Vermont registration is, they get 6% of NADA value in tax, or whatever they deem fair on something without NADA value, which is always at least $500.. So you have to pay VT tax, and then pay your state tax to register it in your own state
