reinell boats?[good or bad]

hey guys are reinell boats any good, i don't hear alot of people talking about them. i have a chance to buy a 1974 cuddy 24ft stove,refig.head,..full camper canvas..all redone in 2000. 302 ford motor. looks nice in pics....price is $2.900..with trailer .......any advice on this would help ..........thanks wayne

it's a 1974.... do a full survey... icepick the stringers,+ transom.... Any Rot ??? test the engine,+ O/D.... is it alright ??? <br />at $2900. ... it should be worth the same money 10 years from now, If you keep it in at least as good a condition.....<br /><br />I bought a Starcraft Islander 221 5 years ago for $2500. It'll still be worth that in 10 more years..... Course, I've already spent $10 or $12,000. ....... But'll still be worth $2500......

thanks bondo he put a new transon on it in 2000 and said the stringers were like new. but i will have it checked out ...i just want to buy it and resell it this spring for about $500-800 more than i paid for it..........wayne

hey way, u boat on oneida lake i'll bet! u had any luck with walleye the past few seasons? it ain't what it used to be. i also know steve the mechanic. he's helped me out a few times. i've heard them reinell's are good boats.

hey hugh yes i boat on oneida lake, but i don't fish, we stay overnight alot up there, where are you from?? steve is a good guy. he takes care of me anytime my boat breaks down with no waiting in and out real cheap too... we're looking at the reinell to resell and make afew $$$.................wayne
