I am trying to get parts together to move console forward in my lowe 1860. I know I'll need new steering cable, but do I also need a new harness or an extension?

1) How far are you going forward?
2) What engine model, year, serial number do you have?
3) Have you check to see if any of the existing wiring harness is not curled up someplace allowing you to extend it a bit more?
