Regarding the 1993-2000 year V6 loopers, what are the expert opinions of using a remanufactured crankshaft when rebuilding the motor?

I have heard both sides, pros and cons, from the guys that are selling them, as well as from crankshaft rebuilder companies, and I really would like your opinions on using a reman crank.

Thanks in advance!!!

Those cranks are way too easy to find used to take a chance on a rebuilt one.

I agree 100% with Dhadley. Since OCC has folded the only reman company I have heard of is on west coast.

Re: Remanufactured Crankshafts

Thanks very much, guys, for the opinions.
I have purchased a crank, but it turns out to be a reman, a fact I did not know.
So, now I need to find a good used one, but I don't really have the experience to know what IS a good one.
Dhadley, I will tell you my crank purchase story by PM if you want. I bet you will be interested.

PM me if you do.
