Is it possible to adapt a quicksliver merc/mariner remote controller to work with a 1982 omc evinrude 25hp outboard??

Change cabels adapers ect??

Thank you for answering my question so quickly....

What do you think is my best bet is? Sell/Trade the quicksilver controller for the omc?

Where to look for one?

Do you know what the proper cable lenth would be for a 13' whaler?

Your outboard shop manual (OMC or Seloc) will tell you how to measure for the correct cable length. If you have cables of the correct length already, either pull and measure them, or check the cable sleeve near the motor end. Length is usually printed or stamped on the cable.
