Remote controls for 1998 Honda 15hp 4-stroke?

I am looking at a fairly nice clean used Honda 15hp 4-stroke - I have only had OMCs and Mercs in the past - question is, are there remote control cables and box available for smaller honda outboards like their 15hp (in particular an older 1998 model) ? I really prefer to set the engine I get for this boat up remote control for the gearshift and the throttle. This particular motor is a tiller model, with the gear shift lever towards the front of the motor. Thanks in advance for any info.

Hi...

I have a shop manual for the Honda 15 - 4 stroke if ya want it. It's dated 2002, but I think it may answer some of your questions.

Let me know if ya wanna download it.

Hi
For what it's worth: I have a 9.9 4-stroke outboard Honda from approximately the mentioned era. It looks exactly like this one: http://www.apolloduck.ie/display.phtml?aid=148474. I think it has a big brother which might be your 15hp. Mine has a remote on it - sorry, don't know the complete history, both engine and remote came with the used boat. The inscription on the box is "FlexiCable" if I'm not mistaken. On the engine side it has a frame which is bolted down to the squarish carrying handle on which the gearshift is mounted. The motor is designed for a remote option, I think it's also mentioned in the manual.
